John-Micah Braswell is a pianist, collaborator, and vocal coach who is in demand as a creator and advocate of contemporary compositions throughout Los Angeles and beyond. As principal opera coach at UCLA, John-Micah prepared Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress, Rhie’s Quake, and Danielpour’s The Grand Hotel Tartarus. Other credits include Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen with Bob Cole Conservatory, Pulkiss’s All The Truths We Cannot See and Saariaho’s La Passion de Simone at USC, and multiple themed programs with Lyric Opera of Orange County and Opera Buffs.
